Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your personal details. Only authorised employees will use any information collected from individual customers as required for order processing or managing treatment records. All customer records are considered confidential and will not be passed to third parties, other than if legally required to by the appropriate authorities.

Payment Methods
Payment is accepted on line through 'Paypal' or by speaking to one of our team who will happy to process card transactions over the telephone. All major credit /debit cards are accepted, with the exception of American Express. Any charges incurred by 'returned / rejected' payments will be passed onto the customer.

Appointment Cancellation Policy
We operate a zero tolerance policy to late cancellations or missed appointments, and you will be charged the full amount for that appointment. We will taken into account certain circumstances. 

Please allow at
least 24 hours notice for any cancellations. We reserve the right to charge you THE FULL AMOUNT for lost time if we are unable to fill your appointment for less than 24 hours notice.
We require all client to turn up promptly to appointments, new clients are asked to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to their appointment to fill in consultation forms (this is not optional).
If you are late for your appointment we reserve the right to shorten the treatment time accordingly but still charge for the full amount. This is so that it does not interfere with later appointments.
For group booking of 3 or more people or for anyone booking more than 1 1/2 hour worth of treatment time we do require a 50% deposit upon booking, this is non-refundable within 48 hours of the treatment commencing. 

Gift Vouchers
Any purchased gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. Vouchers can be purchased for a treatment or a value. Vouchers expired after a 12 month period can be granted a 1 month extension, however this will only be for 50% of the original value on the voucher. After this point the voucher is completely invalid.
​We cannot stress how important it is to allow yourself plenty of time to book in your treatments using your voucher, it is your responsibility to allow enough time to get booked in, considering we often have a 2-12 week waiting list. 
Any special circumstances will be considered, however not guaranteed.
​Please note all vouchers are non refundable, however if your voucher is for a treatment you do not like the sound of, you may use this against any other treatments for the same value.

Spa package Deposit Policy
A deposit of 50% of the total amount is required for all group bookings up to 4 weeks beforehand due to us having to plan ahead with staff and facilities. Failure to attend will incur 50% of treatment cost. The remaining balance is to be settled on Spa Day.

Spa Package Cancellation Policy
More than two weeks before - Deposits are refundable, less a £20 admin fee
Less than two, more than one week - 75% of full cost refundable (min charge £20 admin fee)
Less than one week more than 48hrs - 50% of full cost refundable (min charge £20 admin fee)
Less than 48hrs - No refund

There is a £2.50 postage charge on gift vouchers bought through the website, or just a £1.00 postage charge if you purchase your gift voucher over the phone. There is also the option to save on the cost of postage by arranging collection from the spa.

We would like to bring your attention to some of our rules and regulations, here at The Thyme Treatment Rooms. 


  • No Smoking 

  • Please place your mobile phone on silent or switch it off whilst you are in the vicinity as too not cause disruption to yours or anyone else’s treatment.  

  • We require all clients to wear underwear during treatments, unless you are told otherwise by your Therapist. 

  • Do NOT arrive in wet clothes from the swimming pool, the treatment will only be able to take place if you are wearing dry clothes.  

  • If you are waiting, do NOT continually call for assistance or proceed to open any of the doors if they are shut, somebody will be with you when they are next available.  

  • If you are late for your treatment we may have to shorten the allotted time or refuse to provide the treatment.  

  • Children under the age of 16 years old are NOT allowed treatments. 

  • Children between the ages of 16-18 years old can have limited treatments, however they must have an adults consent and an adult must be present with them during the treatment (please ask a therapist for more details) 

  • If any of the Therapists do not feel comfortable with a client’s attitude, conversation or mannerism’s you will be asked to collect your belongings and leave, following this a record will be made.   

  • Clients are to take full responsibility for their belongings, we suggest you bring everything into the treatment room with you and place it in the baskets provided.  
  • ​We do not allow spectators or children into the room during treatments, children under the age of 16 are also not permitted to wait on their own in the reception area unaccompanied by an adult.  

 

Any clients who do not comply with these rules may be asked to leave and refused future treatments
